- Toxteth Fire Police station
"Liverpool’s Finest – The history of the city’s Fire Brigade" by Gavin F. Bassie
- Toxteth Local Health Board built a station at Lark Lane which fronted onto Ivanhoe Road & became the home of Toxteth Park FB. Later used by Liverpool City FB and upgraded in 1896 allowing the auxiliary equipment at Lark Lane police station to be disposed of. Still here 1900. Became a Police Ambulance station in 1904, and hosereel and ladder were housed at Lark Lane police station
